The treatment area is situated in Serenity Wellness Centre, located at 110 Fowler Street, South Shields, Tyne and Wear.  

Entry is via Serenity the shop.  There are others working in the centre and we are asked to be quiet on the way to the room. 

The treatment room is in the loft, accessible by ascending several flights of stairs.

Toilet facilities are available on the premises.

Appointments from 7.30am and the latest would be 2.30pm (60 minute treatment) on Saturdays.  

A consultation form needs to be completed prior to any proposed treatment.  This will be discussed between yourself and the therapist.  

All information is kept securely and in line with the legislation of the time.  

AYM is a beautiful practice, but is not suitable for everyone.  Your wellbeing is central.  A treatment will not go ahead if the therapist feels it is not suitable at the time.  

The treatment take place on a futon sytle mattress at ground level. 

Please wear underwear that is comfortable (this must be kept on)  Lungis (a bit like a sheet) will be provided to cover the chest area. To ensure you dignity is protected at all times only the area being worked on will be uncovered. 

Oil and Calmus powder are used during the treatment.  This could mean that this will transfer onto clothing when redressing. 

We do not take a deposit or any monies until after the treatment.

If you are able we would appreciate 24 hours notice to re arrange or cancel an appointment.
